Everyday science reveals something weird and wonderful about the world around us, it’s one of the joys of being alive.

Last year there was a multitude of studies on medical marijuana use, some like cannabis lube and marijuana enhancing pleasure during anal sex, were more memorable than others. Oh, and how could we forget weed wine!

At this point we would like to note that drugs are bad, mmmk, and we are in no way advocating the use of illegal substances. Now keep reading.

All these studies keep bringing us back to the same overall finding, that cannabis could be a powerful aphrodisiac – as long as you don’t smoke too much.

High Times recently summed up a new study which confirmed the sexy-time benefits.

‘In “roughly half the reported cases,” people who used cannabis prior to getting down reported “aphrodisiac effects,” the study found, creating arousal when before there was only a cold emptiness. And 70 percent of pre-sex stoners said they experienced “enhancement in pleasure and satisfaction.”’

An interesting distinction is made by an article in Cannabis Culture, they explain ‘that increased lust occurred in situations where a person would normally have felt sexy.’ This is because the weed heightens your senses and keeps you relaxed.

So it’s really only going to enhance what you’re already feeling, not take you from zero to midnight. Sorry.

Regardless, it’s a super marketable concept and there’s already some sex-weed on the market. Sexpot is a strain of sex-enhancing marijuana that is currently available for sale in California and aimed primarily at women.

It’s suggested that ‘right amount’ to smoke could be a single joint – with any more than that more likely to put you to sleep than get your motor running.

And – you need to remember that weed dick is a thing, so you win some you lose some.

Stay responsible, kids!
