A witness spotted the now estranged couple arguing, then Ms Addis is said to have pushed her ex into a bush before locking herself into the family car.
She was then seen edging forward in the vehicle, ‘nudging’ Mr Addis, who fell to the ground holding his leg.
Prosecutor Hywel Hughes said: ‘She was nudging him with the car causing him to move backwards and fall to the ground. The man was holding his left leg and groaning.’
Ms Addis admitted careless driving in May, rather than face her partner’s ‘tawdry affair’.
She was fined £500 and received seven points on her driving licence.
Judge Richard Twomlow said: ‘This incident was a stupid incident and did not bring much credit on any participant in it.’
Mr Addis and Miss Gill both declined to comment after the case.
